Personality for characters
WebCharacter traits, motives, choices, and psychology help readers identify author’s message, theme, tone, mood, and propel the plot in a narrative forward. Character traits include attitudes, behaviors, beliefs, mannerisms, or habits that make up an individual in literature. These attributes can be perceived as positive or negative. WebTheir personality needs to allow that they’re capable of fulfilling that commitment. Once you start to set those pieces into place, consider people you may know or characters from other books/movies that embody those characteristics (and do so well). Don’t rip them off but use them as a template for developing your own character. Hope that helps.
