WebIMO, KSP 1.11 + mods is pretty-much a finished, complete game. In 1.12, it looks like some of the changes is just to incorporate a couple of mods into the vanilla game. Maybe some new parts, which are likely already covered by mods such as near future tech. Bug fixes are what I'm mostly interested in. WebWhile on the other hand, Waterfall is great for simple mesh plumes that look great and respond great to gimbal,etc. I’ll say my favorite thing about waterfall is the RCS plumes, they look AMAZING. So overall if you going to get a plume mod, get waterfall. P.s. IIRC Waterfall is less taxing on your system.
